Hello, how can the anti spam be disabled

Hello, recently, I've been having many complaints that members who are supposed to register in my forum are finding it difficult to register because of the anti spam, so I've come to make a choice to disable the anti spam, because the verification method is so complicated to some guest, whenever i change the the verification method to simple plain text it doesn't save so I want to disable the anti spam thoroughly, so please help.
