HTML codes are unwanted!

Whatever my users post, their posts end up being fxxxed up by the moronic configuation on CAF


Example: A users posts (and enters) "TEST", this gets babblefumbled to display as


<p>TEST</p>

This default configuration is more than moronic, and me and my users are greatly annoyed.

How do I fix this nonsense?

(Sorry for the tone, but the immense time the registration takes here added up to my state of frustration)

It is HTML codes all around that are totally unwanted.

Now the biggest joke about all this is that this has never happened to me (being the admin)


So what is screwed up in all user accounts that causes this HTML crap to be inserted
Everyone keeps complaining to me that they have not entered that jacksh...

Which editor are you using standard or the the other editor?

Where can I see that (as a normal user)?
Can I configure that somewhere (as a normal user)?


The joke about all this is that I (as admin) do not have this issue though I have never touched this setting
but any other user gets his text entries babblefumbled to something that is totally unwanted
just as if some HTML formatting is enforced on what the user enters

Try
Admin -> Manage Posts and Topics -> Post Settings
"Use SCEditor instead for posts"

Since I have disabled this trash called "SCEditor" it all looks as it should - even the preview of messages displays alright now.
