email verification

how to add email verification when some-one registers??

It should be enabled by default but it is under admin -> registration i belive

in this admin -> registration

but where in this we can register new member , set the agreement , set reserved names and change the setting

i have checked the setting i did not find any option saying that require user to activate their account
i even tried normally by registering
it did not ask for registering , it sended the welcome email and not the account activation email

please help me

If your'e an admin do the following

Admin CP -> Registration -> then when you see -> Method of Registration Employed for New Members Switch it to (Email Activation)
