Email Alert To all member for every new post

Hey there!


I have just created a new forum and have a few members associated to it. I checked the "Notify Me" option for all the boards in my forum, but i didnt not receive any email alerts for new posts. I thought "Notify Me" = "Send me an email", Isn't that how it works?.


Also, i am the admin and i want to make sure that for every new post, all members of the forum receive an email alert with a link.


Can someone please point me specifically to what needs to be done here?

Are you getting any emails from the forum?

I have created my own forum, and from that i am not receiving any emails for new posts, even though i enable the "notify" option.


When i posted this query on "support.createaforum", i chose "Notify me of replies" and i got a mail, when you replied.


On my forum, for replies to posts i am getting email but not for new posts. How to enable that?
