General Support / Re: Getting many Cloudflare errors
« Last post by animaniactoo on February 18, 2026, 07:26:06 pm »
We have been getting a bunch of cloudflare errors in the past 24 hours. I assume a new wave of bot attacks, but posting for notification and confirmation.

Looks good! Many thanks. I know it's not a big part of the board, but someone (not me) was complaining.

Some google ads use the flex property which makes them scrollable within a fixed container.

It looks good, that's precisely what I wanted. As I say I'm not opposed to the idea of ads, it's just keeping them proportionate. So, if you could just deal with the other two (that come when your looking at the posts within a thread) that would be magnifico!

One observation now I had time to play with it, is it's not reactive as the width gets smaller. This is more obvious on a mobile phone where the ads appear choppped, but maybe google likes them that way.

The issue is google says non responsive ad units don't have enough ads to display so earnings less.

Google does have a 320x50 ad which is the mobile leaderboard.

Yeah, AdSense's script overrides your styles with !important to prevent clipping. You can't fight it without violating their policies.

On the CAF1.0 stylesheet, the popup was a nice shade of blue with a round font.
This was because it used https://cdn.smfboards.com/caf/css/index.css

The new popup in CAF2.0 uses  https://cdn.smfboards.com/caf2/css/index.css
This results in a boring white background and a Times Roman type font.

Can we either go back to the old one or have the new one work like the old one?
