It has to do with "sessions"   You can change the session time in Admin > Forum Settings > Cookies and Sessions
Change the number in "Seconds before an unused session timeout" to a higher number.

To change the font-size for the numbers add font-size to the styling for each of them

Code: [Select]
<img src="http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/2918/ravenclawhourglass.jpg" /><span style="padding-right:10px;padding-left:10px;color:#ffffff;font-size:14px;">0</span>

See where I added font-size:14px; to the one above?  Do that for each of them and change 14px to the size you want.
To put text above the numbers probably need to do this all in a table.   Ive no time today to work that out for ya but will when I do have some spare time if no one else gets to it.

Also you can check HELP at the top of your forum in the menu bar or search at simplemachines help for some of the forum features to get answers ;)

Are you asking how to install the Caramel style?      You need to create a new style in style manager and replace the css on the page with the css for caramel then save the page.

But...  the Caramel style has not been updated to work properly with the current version of the forum software so I wouldnt recommend using it.    I do not know when or if I will have the time or be able to update it.

Here you go:
Code: [Select]
<img src="http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/8715/hwbanner.jpg" />
<br />
<img src="http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/2918/ravenclawhourglass.jpg" /><span style="padding-right:10px;padding-left:10px;color:#ffffff;">0</span>
<img src="http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/2029/slytherinhourglass.jpg" /><span style="padding-right:10px;padding-left:10px;color:#ffffff;">0</span>
<img src="http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/2295/gryffindorhourglass.jpg" /><span style="padding-right:10px;padding-left:10px;color:#ffffff;">0</span>
<img src="http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/2563/hufflepuffhourglass.jpg" /><span style="padding-right:10px;padding-left:10px;color:#ffffff;">0</span>

I set the color for the numbers to white.   You can change #ffffff for each of them to change the color.

Looks like you stuck it in your footer ;)    Go to Style Manager in Admin and delete it from your Footer.

At Imageshack under "Links to Share this Image" you have to get the "Direct Link" to the image, which means you have to sign in to your account at Imageshack in order to get those links.

Or you can use the HTML code provided under "Embed this Image"

If you right click the subject of the exact post and copy that link location -   that link will take you to that exact post in the thread.     For instance:    This link will take you to the post by Seldom Fail:  http://support.createaforum.com/8/forum-post-new-window-option/msg2604/#msg2604
There is no way with this software to make it show ONLY that post and not the entire thread the post resides in.

It is not a bug.  If you are seeing it update without a page refresh then the forum you are seeing it do that on is not running simplemachines software.    Its not coded into the smf software to do that - you will not see the change until you refresh the page.

Under Account Related Settings did you change your Username or your Display Name?   It makes a difference.
If you changed your Display Name then you still login using your original User Name and Password.
If you changed your User name the forum resets your password and emails you the new password.  You of course have to be able to receive that email.     Check your spam/junk mail settings and folders for your email account and see if the email is being sent to a spam or junk folder.

Are you using the code tags when posting codes?

If not make sure to do so.

Hello everybody,

I have got two questions I really need an answer on.

1 - Is there a possibility to add an Icon next to 'Your forum - Index' ?? If so, how ?

2 - I want to have this image :

And next to the Hourglasses I want a changeable Number. Is there a code for this ? Or how do I do so ?

Thanks in advance.

Im not exactly sure what you are asking for #1 -  exactly where do you mean?

#2 I dont know of a way to do that

Also - where the Forum name normally is at the top left you have a redx - I checked your source code and can see you tried using bbcode in the logo image url box -  cannot do that.   To put an image there you need to put only the direct url to the image which would be:  http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/8907/indexiy.jpg   No other code - ONLY the direct url will work.

It seems that there's a hidden BBC code to use spoilers however it's not shown as an option when you make a topic/post
Its a Modification CAF added..not part of the smf software

Guides and Tutorials / Re: [GUIDE] Using Your Own Rank Images
« on: August 29, 2011, 06:12:57 pm »
CB - the only way you can use different rank images is to follow the instructions in the Guide.
When you get to Step 3 in the Guide -  the page with the Generator is no longer available to skip a few posts to the post I made that has the code you will edit and put into your footer.  You MUST do all of the other steps before doing that
