How do I add another NEW theme
Reason being that the theme that I love needs fix (Theme 'dark2' needs overhaul[/iurl])
Under Style Manager,

At the bottom of the existing styles
"Create Style"

@ani
"I have frequently been getting the message that the site may no longer exist or have moved to a new address before it eventually loads what I was trying to click on."

I read what you described there and that is exactly what I am having here only that it is so hard to capture the above screenshot:

a) because it happens only very occasionally
and
b) because you got to be fast :)
Yes! I have not been quick enough to get a screenshot because it goes by so fast. lol.

this is similar to the issue that I had reported a few weeks back - the tweaks that you made did improve it, but it continues to crop up from time to time.

www.haxnuts.createaforum.com for reference.

We don't use that theme, so we don't have that issue - but you can manually edit the themes and make the adjustments that you need (I did this for our forum because the font sizes was too small for many of our members, so I know that it's possible to do and works well). If I have time tomorrow, I will dig into the style sheet and see where the tweaks are needed to adjust the highlight/etc. colors. That's the hard annoying part - finding that part of the style sheet and figuring out what you need to change it to.

Possibly someone with more CSS experience than I have can help with that, but I can figure it out if not... just a question of when I have time to get to it myself. Tomorrow is possible but not guaranteed.

Thank you very much. In a couple of days I'll report in. If we're still having significant issues, I will do the info gathering thread for the best picture available of the scope of the problem. But hopefully that won't be necessary. :)

can you take a screenshot of the error.
For the past 2-3 weeks, I have frequently been getting the message that the site may no longer exist or have moved to a new address before it eventually loads what I was trying to click on.

It flashes by too quickly. I was trying yesterday - It says "Site cannot be reached" and then goes on to say that it may no longer exist or have moved to a new address... but then moments later goes on to load the page. Yesterday one person said "is this site really slow for anyone else lately?" and about 10 others chimed in to say that they've been having lag for a few weeks.

Full information, it is not outside the realm of possibility that this is malicious interference. We recently (finally) banned someone who has some IT skills, but it started before that point for me.

Vast majority are from the US, mostly east coast.

Some in the midwest, a smattering on the other coast and UK.

If useful, I can do an info-gathering thread to grab info like Device/OS and browser that people are using to access the site.

For the past 2-3 weeks, I have frequently been getting the message that the site may no longer exist or have moved to a new address before it eventually loads what I was trying to click on. Today other users have started reporting that site has been running very slowly for them also.

Is this something happening across the whole platform, or is it specific to us? Is there anything that I can do from my end for it?

our site is haxnuts.createaforum.com

Suggestions / Format Menu Button for Spoiler Text
« on: February 15, 2023, 09:12:15 pm »
Would it be possible to get a button for this? The functionality already exists (we know cuz we've used the tags), but doesn't have a handy button available in the formatting menu.

Thanks!

for what it's worth, we've repurposed the buttons that didn't have a use for our forum or we did not want to be used in seriousness, you might try doing the same for yours:

Reaction Buttons

Reaction Buttons

• The "Optimism" button has been repurposed to be "Mojo"

• The "Dumb" button has been repurposed to be "Annoyed/Mad/The people IN this post (not the poster) are dumb"

sorry - brain cramp about uploading it as full size rather than expandable thumbnail. I've been stuck in changing legal stuff on packaging all day. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
