Is there any way to make a system that will allow an admin to basiclly copy a topic to another section of the forum? The reason being is that i run an computer support forum and i like to pin topics to the operating system sections but some of those are the same thing and it takes me a while to add a new topic to each board then copy the text and so on... :)

Ahh you have a point there. :) Another idea would be maybe making so that if you have one forum you can link it to another you own so that user wouldn't have to re register. :)

Ahh you dont need an icon..  ;D when you can have double text saying stats twice. :) No Im sure he will fix it soon. :) That would be something i would have missed as well, I have done it before the last time I built an SMF database, I just use SMF/CAF as it is easier than building my own..  :)

That is a great idea so that members of one forum that is hosted on Create a forum can register with another forum without putting in there information again all they have to do is enter their user-name and password, accept the agreement and they are in. Also it would be even better if you could make it happen on SFMforfree as well as here so that old members don't have to re register. :)

yeah this new software is the latest release of it and It makes some tasks a lot easier that is why i am using it and moving my other forum over. :)

Good point Sorry,, im a beta tester :) I was using Firefox 4.0 beta 1 and then i checked with the non beta Firefox and it is ok so that is something you could check into. :) Thank you again. :)

Yeah Im gonna go with it was very severe, most likely it was what i mentioned above and IP board came after them with a infringement notice or something along thoses lines because I dont think that IP board would allow them to give people boards with out there permission. Oh well they should have gone with SMF for free  ;D So now that is 2 forum hosts to go in a week or so! :)

I think they had to many Copyright infringement notices from others hosting illeagal content that they were shut down,, but what i cannot understand is why they were told to be hush hush about it? Unless it is so severe that the FBI is involved but i highly doubt that.

When I enable the portal homepage the home link takes you to the homepage but there is no tab to the Forums.  ???
