No telling bad, only saying it's already been requested, why create a new thread?
 For CAF to remove the Karma, he should be sure we all do not like it. I have no problems with the karma setting. In my forum, we rarely use the Karma, members prefer saying 'thank you for your reply..' so the thank or favorite or like feature may be suitable for my forums, but some admins here might prefer the Karma, they might not be happy if its removed

No. You can't decide for all of us. Some of us feel the Karma should remain.
 'thank', 'favorite', 'like', etc...all different forms of the same thing, and these have already been suggested in other threads.

There is no welcome PM feature yet in CAF. I had suggested it in this thread

 I do not know what a poll topic id is. I create polls in my forum without having to give a poll topic id.
 Perhaps you're missing something? Are polls enabled in your forum?

I just wanted to comment about the name 'create a forum'
 I think its really nice. When I wanted to start my forum i googled 'create a forum' and Createaforum.com was the first result ..and I instantly liked the software :)

Hi all!
I was just thinking...which do you prefer, at the head of your forums
a logo image or a banner. Please see:

I've been having this feeling that the Top looks a bit awkward due to the logo Image.
 Please say your thought. Do you think the logo Image is OK, or a banner would look better?

I believe there's only one way to grow your forum, and that's by thinking!
 Your brain is your forum's greatest asset, just take out say 30 minutes and ask yourself
 how can I get more members?
 How can I build a close community?
How can I get the members to return after they join?
etc.
 Depending on what type of forum you have, you should be able to get new ideas after THINKING REALLY HARD.
 It dosen't have to be conventional.
 A facebook page would do fine, and a twitter page.
 Now, suppose there are small fb groups that have the same identity as your forums, you could message the admin to partner with you. Chances are that he might invite members of the group to your forum. Advertise in fb groups. Email webmasters for backlinks. Advertise in these support forums. I notice some members of this support forum in my forum. Thanks!

 Don't stop thinking. Newsletters similar to what fb give as email notifications could help members remember and return to your site. Make your forums userfriendly. Create interesting discussion topics, etc etc.

1. Go to your admin panel, and click 'registration'
then disable email activation
2. Admin > features and options > karma
then edit the Karma settings to how you want it to look
