Okay if I wanted a table (such as one for news and information) to appear between the heading of the forum (where the title and navigation menu are) and the actual forum (where the boards are), would I stick it somewhere in the tangle of CSS coding, and if so, where?

Many years ago, there was a place called the Wolflands. Here there were fantastic wolves of all elements and powers, questing, exploring, fighting, training, leading their pack. There were hundreds of packs, winged wolves and flame wolves and wolves that had cities beneath the sea. They all lived in that magical place where no human could reach...
...and you trotted in. There are no longer the great packs of the past. What happened to them? Who knows. But you gathered your friends, and soon the packs grew again, just as powerful as they were before...
Come in to the Wolflands. Here there have always been great packs of courage and renown, and here they shall stay.

Ok so I have successfully achieved a background for my site. How do i go about changing the color of the stuff the actual forum is on? The current theme doesn't quite go.
