Reporting back on this problem.  I finally accessed my admin page with a correct password.  I had found a file I had with keys to my forum.  I typed in my username and password.  Username was OK but password was not.  So then I tried some other passwords and finally got in.  Alot of work has gone into this forum.  I am very happy I have control back.  Thanks to all who helped.

When putting in my user email to get a password redone it says an email has been sent and click the link to reset password.  This email is a registered email with my forum.  There is never an email sent back.  Does this function work?  Thanks for your time.

The email I give to reset password says, it is not a listed email.  The screen name I use is not a listed screen name. The secret question just like the password reset never is sent to me.  I have registered as a user under a different email address to access, but I cannot get the administration password to work.  If I register as a new user and use the email address, I had used as administrator; then it says it is an address already used and it comes back as an error. There just has been so much work put into this site I would be very sad to lose it.  Thanks for helping.
