General Support / Is it possible to migrate forum?

Let's say i decide to purchase hosting elsewhere and add SMF to it, would it be possible to take my old CAF (members,posts,layout,etc) to the new space?
My main concern being member accounts since i know people don't like needing to re-register.
Also since i added a domain name, would removing it take long? (i think adding it took about 24 hours before it worked 100%)
