One of our members has posted this query. I wonder if you could shed some light on it, please:

I’ve noticed the ‘posts per day’ info on your profile is as a round number. So I was averaging around 1.3 per day and it’s now showing as just 1. Same for everyone else. Any reason for this and can it be changed? Sorry I’m someone who obsesses over figures like this!

Thanks so much. I would never have found that!

Thanks, but I might be incredibly thick here, I have searched profiles but cannot find any Buddies/ignore list... Ordinary members just have this under Modify Profile:

I can’t find it, but I have been asked by a member if it is possible to “hide” a member so that they don’t see their posts. I know some forums have this option where you can do this, usually under a “friends and foes” setting. Do we have this option?

General Support / Can members choose theme?
« on: November 12, 2021, 10:18:25 am »
I have searched through admin to see if members can be allowed to choose their own theme. I cannot find anything to suggest they can. Is this possible? Since updating to the 'new look', I altered the blue (as this forum is) to a pink/maroon, but can't go back to the blue now! I have tried other colours but some like them, some hate them! Letting them choose their own from your three colours would be great!

Thanks, but I think that's a bit beyond me!

I have noticed that the emoji icon that produces a drop-down menu of emojis now doesn't work.

I like the 'new-look' responsive theme option that has just been announced. However, I have noticed the font size has increased in posts. Is there any way to alter the font size in admin settings? I have had a look but can't find anything.

I have no idea what happened to my post, above. I was simply asking if you had looked into the option of just having a "Like" button. I had to disable the awesome ratings as they were being used in a derogatory way by some members.

[/size]We do have a like button with the awesome post rating system which is enabled under Admin -> Post Topic Settings

I disabled this feature as it was being used to 'gang up' on someone by using "disagree" and other derogatory ratings to his posts. However, I would like to have a "Like" option. I did ask before if this could be possible and you said you'd look into it. Have you managed to do that yet?

It seems many are experiencing problems at the moment. My forum, too! After submitting a post, it takes you back to P1 of the thread, instead of your submitted post, some are reporting emojis don't work, and the code appears instead of the emoji. Some are saying some thinks work on a laptop, but not a phone. You mentioned somewhere you have upgraded the forums, I imagine a gremlin has found its way in. Just thought I'd let you know.

Google Chrome. I did change editors but that didn't work, either.  :-[
