General Support / Anti spam says I am flagged as a spammer
« on: January 13, 2014, 11:02:47 pm »
Whenever I try to go on my site, it says I have to verify myself.  It says I was flagged as a spammer on my own site.  I have to do the authentication word typing thing.  I have to do this twice in a row and it is really frustrating.  Why is it doing this?

Sorry for your problem.  When CreateaForum reads this, they will probably help you out but if not, i suggest doing what the above person said, change details/username.  change email so it is no longer you.  Just a thought.  Have you contacted the owner of the site?  Or you could just be a pain in the neck and spam or something.......not really recommended hahaha but hey, its creative

Bugs / Re: Antispam won't disable

I understand.  I've made my forum a math tutoring and help forum, and some people may not want to register to just ask a question.  Plus there are younger children whose parents may not want their kids signing up for forums.  I can understand why you would make it so you can't disable the anti-spam, but wouldn't it make the option to disable it useless?  Just a thought :)

Bugs / Antispam won't disable

For some reason I can't change antispam so that new members and guests don't have to verify themselves.  It is a hassle to fill out those things.  It won't even let me change the vertification image to simple.  It only allows medium.  I was wondering if there is a way to fix this?

For example I want to make it so it goes from oldest to newest posts in a topic.  Are there settings for this?

Suggestions / credit/points system
« on: December 18, 2013, 04:06:06 am »
it's pretty explanatory, but basically members get rewarded with points for posting/starting a new thread.  They can also get points for other various things that you could choose.  You could offer rewards for members to spend their points, which would encourage member activity.  Also this would be helpful to artists.  They could "sell" their art/sigs to other members.  Just a suggestion.  Leave your feedback!

Just curious, but many forum have a credit/point system, where if users post they can earn points.  Do you guys offer a system like this?

Advertise your forum / MathHelp

I've simply created a forum for people to come get help on math.  Services are free of course.  The levels of math start at basic math and go to Pre-calculus.  MathHelp.createaforum.com
