Title: Tapatalk plugin
Post by: abdocs4admin on August 01, 2020, 07:13:34 am
Hi...me again.  We are growing quickly with our forum and it is leading to doctors organizing effectively to defend public healthcare.  Thank you for making this possible.

But, we are running into a problem getting as many people involved as possible.  Phones are the modern means of engaging forums.  So, we are working on putting together a presence at tapatalk.

Our general settings are all working, and the site URL is accepted.  However the status box in the upper left states we are unpublished, and that the plugin is outdated.  So, I am assuming the plugin being outdated is the current issue.

As you probably gathered from my other posts, I am a complete newbie to all this (but learning fast).  Is there something I have to do to update the plugin?  I see a "tapatalk API key" at the bottom of the settings page.  I am supposed to save that somewhere to make the plugin update?

UPDATE: found the new menu item in the admin section for tapatalk, and entered the API key there.  The tapatalk settings screen (@ tapatalk.com) still shows it outdated, but I wonder if that is just a time issue

What it is saying now is "Your Tapatalk Plugin Version: sm-2a_4.5.2, Latest version: sm-2a_4.5.7."

As always, I am so grateful for what help you can offer

John

Now I can't find our forum in the tapatalk search window, but the settings page shows our plugin is uptodate and that the forum "is publish".  So I believe the issue is probably on their side at this point.

Thanks again
