Title: Change colour of category and menu bars
Post by: mtee82 on December 12, 2019, 04:53:34 pm
Hi,

I have searched through past questions but I'm unable to find an answer, can you please advise how to change the colour of the category and menu bars?  I am familiar with CSS, though the category bars don't seem to be a simple colour but rather a specific .png file so is it actually possible for the colour of this to be changed?

Thanks

You can change out the png file. We have a customize images section and also you can edit the css.

In the admin -> style manager -> image hosting

Hi,

Thanks but I don't see the category bars listed under the customize images section.  When I inspect the CSS, it shows the image as https://cdn.smfboards.com/caf/themes/st_patricks/images/theme/cat.png

But I don't see this image in the list, can you please advise?

Yes you can then edit that line and replace with the url of your uploaded image from image hosting in the style manager.

Sorry change it where exactly? As I say, I cannot see that line in the Image Manager, I can only see it via Chrome Dev Tools. Thanks

It would be under Admin -> Style Manager -> Styles
Under created styles
Click "Modify Style" then you should see all the CSS for the style.
