Title: What does it mean "Upload folder is full"?

have created some 'stickys' for each new board and got this error message


the ramifications are not good as I cannot make any new posts now. Presumably until I delete something off  :-\

It should only happen if you used your attachment space up already we have set to 20mb by default for the forum.
If you don't post the attachment it should still post.

when you say attachment you mean pictures?


Is there a way of increasing this pls?


is a youtube link considered an attachment? if so, how can I post a link without it being classed as an attachment pls?


would it  make any difference attaching a thumbnail instead of inline full size pic?

Any file that is uploaded to the forum.
Linked images/videos don't count.

You can see which files are taking up space under attachments and avatars in the admin settings.

would this still be the case if members uploaded selfie's to forum pls?

FYI anyone having same problems, just find an third party site that will convert your images.


I used www.FGY.ME (http://www.FGY.ME)


BB Coded Direct Image Link - is for posting directing in threads and for forum images (small ones) use the Direct Link option.

This way they are not stores ON the forum and you save valuable space support

Yes if all the attachment space is used then no more files can be uploaded till you upgrade for more or delete old ones.
