Title: How to add different permissions for different boards?
Post by: ams4writing on November 30, 2017, 12:13:11 am
Hello,
I was wondering if it's possible to set the permissions differently for the various boards across the forum? As an example, I would like my "Welcome New Members" board within the General category to be visible to guests, but I would like all the other boards to be viewed only by registered members. Is it possible to do this? If so, how?

Thanks in advance! My website is linked below in case you need to see it.

Yes it is possible Under Admin -> Boards then click permissions.

You can also do local permissions for each board.

Oh okay. Thanks!

I saw that if you click Modify for the individual board, you can select or deselect Guests as a group allowed to access the board. Does that do the trick?

Yes that does.
