Title: URGENT issue with our forum

To the CreateAForum support team:


I was an admin at the Movie Watchers Oasis (http://trollfightersoasis.createaforum.com/index.php (http://trollfightersoasis.createaforum.com/index.php)) until today, when one of our admins made another user an admin without our permission. That user immediately removed all permissions for other users and is now the sole admin for our forum. However, I still control the webmaster email address for the site, as I do not believe this new user has changed it. Please email me (gvvert@gmail.com) immediately. I would like to discuss possibly shutting the forum down temporarily before this user does serious damage to our threads. This is, obviously, time-sensitive, so please contact me with whatever procedures I need to take to ensure the safety of our forum! Thank you very much in advance!

Done locked. If you have the original fixcp login information you can remove admins from there.

Thank you very much for doing this. Fortunately, the user in question has caved under pressure fairly quickly and has agreed to surrender power. Please restore the forum as quickly as possible so we can get back to talking about movies.

Sorry to bother you-- one last thing. It seems that no one on the site is an admin now, so none of us can restore the site to its natural order. Could you possibly give admin status to the account associated with the webmaster email? Thanks again.

Not as urgent, but still an issue-- I recall that there is a ban on Russian users accessing forums on CreateAForum. The Oasis has a Russian user, so we have in the past contacted CreateAForum to lift that ban on our forum. By any chance, might this forum reset have reinstated that ban? If so, could you guys lift it again?
