Title: Style Help
Post by: Shocari on June 17, 2011, 03:13:38 am
How would we go about converting a theme from smfforfree so that it is compatible with createaforum? Or would we have to essentially start over from scratch and just incorporate certain aspects of the theme?

No, he means you would have to start from scratch with the style.
The css for 1.1.* (which is what the styles for SMF for Free forums are) is not compatible with smf2.0 (which is the version of the forum software Create a Forum is using)   The css is VERY different.   The images are different, the html is different.   2.0 was a major upgrade and change from 1.0.   You would have to totally recreate the style to use it with your current forum.

Darn. Guess I'll have to start cracking on some CSS tutorials. Thanks for answering!
