Title: Theme Dilemma
Post by: guest3221 on January 09, 2016, 05:37:40 pm

On the forum I'm on, we need a new theme. Members such as I are getting tired of the same theme, and we want to keep things new. Problem is, some people think the light green is a combination of lime green and puke, orange is an eyesore, St. Patrick's is glitchy, and so on. Basically, we aren't having any luck.

My question is, how can we edit a current theme, down to the guts of it, and create a custom one? Also, how could we construct a monthly cycle of themes to keep things fresh? How could we change the colors of the themes out of the default to potentially have a color for each month representing the flow of the four seasons?

Using the style manager you can edit your current style that you have selected there is a "Modify Style" area that you can go in and then change out any of the css.

Is there not an easier way of doing that? Because I'm not very experienced with it, because I play around with it, and then either nothing happens, or I mess it up...  :'(

Ok...I guess I'll have to keep playing around with the code, and see what happens.  ;)
