Title: Question about Disabling Registration
Post by: AntacidObject66 on August 28, 2014, 04:57:13 am
In our forums, we have initiated a temporary freeze on accepting new member registrations due to unexpected rapid growth.

As such, I was wondering: in order to prevent new registration applications from coming in, but continue to allow Guests to view approved boards, do I "Disable Registration" but leave the "ticks" in on the approved Guest Viewing approved boards?

Thank you...i just want to make sure i do this right beforehand.

Yes that would work.
You can disable registration under Admin Registration even though I do suggest to keep it open maybe think about adding some other moderators to your site?

Thank you for your response and your suggestion. And we have added a couple of moderators and another admin to monitor incoming registratons.

Thanks again for your time and your help.  :)
