Title: IP Spam
Post by: Sara50840 on December 15, 2013, 11:00:44 pm
Occasionally when I log onto my forum, Amazing Grace (http://amazinggrace.createaforum.com), it will say that my IP has been reported as spam, and I have to insert in a code to access MY OWN forum.  How do I fix this?  It has happened twice now.

You need to answer the code each time that means your IP changes.

Odd, it never happened to me before.

Are you able to post a screenshot?

The server spam filter is blocking members, mods.  They have to pass their BS everytime too.

I just wonder how many new members cant get signed up due to this spam filter................Been told by 1 so far that contacted me on another site.

Yes it can happen. They are probably on the database of http://www.stopforumspam.com

If we did not use it forums would be a lot slower and have more spam problems
