Title: Is there a way to preserve formatted text when pasting into the reply box?
Post by: richterbelmont10 on November 29, 2013, 05:18:53 pm
Hello, I'm a mod over at The Saga Continues (http://thesagacontinues.createaforum.com/index.php) and we use a lot of preformatted text. If I have a text that has already been "bolded" and "underlined" and "italicized," is there a way to paste that text into the forum's Reply box and preserve its formatting? As it stands, when I paste the text, all the bold, underline, and italics are removed. The text is converted to plain text. I have to reformat the text using the <b></b> and <i></i> and <u></u> tags. It's annoying.

Wow, I can enter preformatted text here!! How can I do this on my own forum?

 |era=the eras in which the weapon was used here;
 |affiliation=[[Gungan Grand Army]]; List the governments and major organizations that used the weapon here; ex: Order of the Sith Lords, Confederacy of Independent Systems, Galactic Empire
Red entries are missing from older infoboxes

Star Wars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars) on Wikipedia
