Hi Retro,

if you want a banner like mine http://www.unimogclubuk.com/index.php?action=forum (http://www.unimogclubuk.com/index.php?action=forum) , where it fits nicely, then you need to go to your admin panel>configuration>style manager>header and footers.
then put this code into your header

<center><a href="your forum url here"><img src="image code from photobucket or similar website here" border="0" alt="here you can place an alternative image if something goes wrong with the other one"width="93%"/></a></center>

the red writing shows which page it will go to when somebody clicks on your header image, in my case it goes to the forum.
the orange writing is the image code for the picture that you uploaded to photobucket or a similar website.
the green writing is the width of the header image, play around with the numbers untill you get it rightsupportotherwise if youre not bothered, you can just delete the green writingsupport

hope this helps, Brian

well you could use paint, but that always gives an amateurish finish, and doesnt allow for transparancy. i use gimp, which is a free image editing and designing programme, it takes a bit to learn how to use it though, but youtube videos teach a lot about it  :)
