Hi guys - I have seen a few threads on here regarding sitemaps, and I used the one as suggested by createaforum representatives on this forum, but google throws up an error when I submit it saying that it appears to be html, and to use a compatible format.
the sitemap I submitted was:
http://www.highland-home-brew.co.uk/index.php/?action=sitemap;xml
thanks in advance

Try instead
http://www.highland-home-brew.co.uk/index.php?action=sitemap;xml

Thanks for the reply - removed my submitted sitemap and added the above (copied and pasted index.php?action=sitemap;xml)
still no joy google reports this:
Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.

I see what you are doing. You are using web forwarding for your domain name instead of domain parking. I would change that if you can.
Here is url for sitemap though then http://highlandhomebrew.createaforum.com/index.php?action=sitemap;xml

Well spotted - you have passed the test lol.....I wondered about that actually - fairly new to google webmaster and sitemaps lol
I will get your domain added to the site list on google.
Cheers for the help :D
