Title: Censored words?
Post by: hashash on September 12, 2013, 11:24:55 pm: We have a pretty unique bunch of guys on my forum, and language is pretty normal. Today I looked at it and all cuss words are starred out. I didn't do this, nor did any of my mods, any suggestions? Did I get hacked?

Post by: CreateAForum on September 12, 2013, 11:28:18 pm: We censor out words due to advertisers mainly google does not want them to appear. To disable the censor words requires either ad free credits or an ad free plan.

Go into the Admin Configuration, look for a button that allows you to censor words, all I know.

I have read your post about the censoring and was unable to figure out how to send a message to Createaforum as advised in your post, since the person who posted the post (Alex) appears not to have been here for many months and might not get it.

The word "therapeutic" keeps getting censored on my board:

The letters r-a-p-e are the problem. I don't know about the word grape but we'll see in this post.

Is there a way I can override the censor, aside from paying to get rid of the ads?
