Title: Forum not updating
Post by: Paul Mcnally on August 06, 2013, 12:46:50 pm
I have set up a forum but I have added it to my own website using HTML, everything is working fine but the posts are not updating, when I log in I can see all the posts but if I log back out and open my website again it goes back to where it was. any ideas what is causing this

Not sure do you have a link to explain it?

As soon as you log in all posts are there but for people just viewing it they can't see them.
If I copy the HTML code now and put it into the website it will update them but I would have to do this every time somebody posts

You can't simply copy and paste the source code and expect it to work, the best way to embed your forum on another site is to use iframes (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_iframe.asp).

I use this link and done the same with my previous forum and it worked fine when embedded in my site. my website providers forum is not up to much so that is why I have added this one
