Title: change status to staff
Post by: mark and blue on October 07, 2012, 12:19:16 am
Hi guys,
can anybody tell me how to change my status from newbie to staff, in my profile, i have set main usergroup to admin, then in secondary usergroup i have set it to staff, yet on posts, it still says newbie (or new member as i have changed it to), also i have disabled the posts required for group changes.

thanks guys, i hope somebody can help.

don't use the bottom part. your group will be set as administrative cus your the onwer. you can add a second group by going on profile- forum setting-add another group

Idk how to do that, but i can help you get a custom title.
Go into "Admin" panel
Then, go into "Features And Options"
Enable "Custom Titles"
Go into "Forum Profile"
Put in the Custom Title the title you wanna have.

In my site http://swapnoteleagueoftrivia.createaforum.com (http://swapnoteleagueoftrivia.createaforum.com) I'm the BSAA Operator

Admin>CP>Config>Layout Settings>Theme Settings

Check the box that says "Hide post group titles for grouped members:" This will hide the Newbie part.

If you want a secondary line saying you are staff, like where "CAF Support Team" appears for me here, go to your forum profile settings under the profile tab and add it as your custom title. Make sure those are enabled:

Admin>CP>Config>Features and Options

Check "Enable Custom Titles"
