Title: Global Moderator
Post by: Griff Grof on July 15, 2012, 06:27:35 pm
How to you set members to be Global Moderators? I have put them in the member group where they are keyed in a "Blue" colour - does this mean I still have to go by manually setting them for each board? Or can I remove them from each board, with them still being able to moderate everywhere?

How do you do it on this forum?

A global moderator has the permissions of a moderator all of the forum. If you set them for one board, they can only moderate that board. So having them on every board is not necessary if you have them set as a global.

And how do you have them set as global? Have I done it by making the pre-created Blue colour coded "Moderator" Group visible?

Go to the members profile, look left and find "Account Settings" and then change their Primary Membergroup to "Global Moderator"
