Title: [Guide] Admin CP News and Newsletters

Introduction


Putting up news for your forum is a great way for members to see what is happening on your forum in a timely manner. The news will appear in the top right of the forum, as shown here:

Accessing the News Section

The news section can be found by going to Admin -> News and Newsletters

Enter items that you would like to appear underneath news there. Entering multiple items will show the news items at random.


BBC tags can also be used in the text area for the news. When text is entered in the text area with BBC tags, the preview is shown on the right.



Newsletters

Newsletters will allow you to send e-mails to all members in certain membergroups.


To access Newsletters, go to Admin -> News and Newsletters -> Newsletters tab


Select the membergroups that you would like to send the newsletter to:

After choosing the membergroups click Next.


From this page you can now enter the subject and the body of the newsletter that is going to be sent to the selected groups.
