Word Censor based on number/letter sequence?
« on: October 29, 2016, 11:04:08 pm »
Search isn't coming up with anything.

I want to set word censors based on number or letter sequences, regardless of the number or letter.  Phone numbers for example ... any sequence of ###-###-#### regardless of the digits entered I want blanked out. Same with email addresses, anything with letters or numbers before and after the '@' symbol should be blanked.

This would be in posts only and probably by member group.  Possibly set by category or board.

Basically, we don't want just anybody posting their own personal information, but we'll need to post phone numbers and email addresses for certain support companies.

Would be hard to do. Would require a regex which our current censor system does not support.
