Subdomain issues
« on: July 11, 2012, 10:05:18 am »
Hi everyone, I recently made a forum and now I would like to point it to my domain, but my domain name is using blogger but I will have a page called "Forum" which will take the users to http://forum.domainname.com

I have made the subdomain in GoDaddy, tweaked the A host and added the nameserver IP, and now the only thing left to do is type in my subdomain my forum control panel field and click "Park Domain" but it turns out you don't support such names. Is there any way a staff member here can do this for me please or it is not allowed? I can't use the forum on the original domain name because like I said, it uses Blogger. Is there any way around this?

The easiest solution, because the forum does not support subdomains, is to FORWARD the domain through GoDaddy. Go to where you set up the subdomain and instead of doing nameservers, just set it to forward to your forum URL.
