Complaints by potential members

I invited some friends to my forum, and they've been telling me they keep trying to join but they get this message that their details matched that of a known spammer, therefore they've been disallowed registration. The registrations in my forum have dropped significantly since i started recieving this complaint this week. What could be going wrong?

Updated the registration message. It should give a better idea if they are rejected and why if it is their ip,email, or username.

Problem persists, it's really bugging me. No registration in 4 days is highly unusual.

Did an update that should help. I used to get a db error should be fixed now.
