I have just added a new category Here https://www.databasedreams.co.uk/index.php?action=downloads Testers files
permissions have been added to allow testers to download files but all others other than admin cannot downloadfiles from this groupI am able to download the file butI have updated a members Sub Groups to include the required testers group permissions but he was not able to download the file and recieved the following message.

You are not allowed to download a file in this category.

I then added him to the testers groups as his primary group and made his current group a sub group but he was still unable to download the files He has downloaded files in the past.

Edit the member has tried other downloads in other groups without any problems I'm going to try recreating the group but as a sub group then move to primary group

I did add him to the testers group as a primary but will try again.

What is the exact error message. Also that persons membergroup must have the global download permission as well under admin -> permissions

My guess would be the post based group is causing the denial. Deny's currently override any allows so if one group says no it would block it.
