Hi, I have a question. I want to know if it is possible to make boards that are accessible to only one member, so that I can deliver lesson material in a way that emulates a private online account. I'm thinking that this would be preferable to emailing, as email has a limit on the size of a file I can send. It would also be better than using something like Dropbox, as each student would have a collection of materials, sequentially stored on their private board which is part of the student forum. I would make it so they could only read the topics I post and download attachments.

Any advice or assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

You would need to create a new membergroup just for that member. Then give that board that membergroup access

Ah yes, that idea had crossed my mind. Sounds simple enough. I'll give it a try.

Thanks for your super fast response.

Fantastic! I have made the Membergroup. I have added the member to it. I have created the private board for the member. Now, is there a way that I can take away the member's ability to post in his personal board, so that it is only a place to read what I post him and download attachments?

Cheers.

When creating the board, you can choose to make it read only
All codes I make are tested on the latest version of Google Chrome and upon request of other browsers.
