membergroup images

is it possible to change the membergroup images to something NOT in the list? Example: an images not here:
http://www.smfforfree.com/starpreview.htm
 
I tried to enter the image url but it didn't work. it wasn't a problem with the image server either, since I uploaded on my own forum.

I think requires a code to do it but people have done it.
