Process for porting forum to my own servers/domain etc

Hello, there's a forum on here that has been around since 2006 or so, and we've been wanting to make a copy of it on our own servers just for safekeeping. Is there an easy process for porting the forum and its contents to a website I've made? If not, is there a difficult process for porting the forum and its contents to a website I have made?

I can generate a backup of the forum $50 would include the sql format of the current forum, and any attachments,gallery files.
