Quotes

When people quote other members on the board it's stacking ALL the quotes that came before. This is not what I or the other members want. What we like is when quoting a member that it only post the most recent quote and not everything that came before.


So, how to fix this?

Well, when you hit quote, just backspace the other quotes before it.

That's asking too much from Members. Besides, on every other forum I'm a member of, it's set up to just post the previous quote automatically. Members don't want to have work at fixing the problem when all they want to do is post.

Admin > Posts and topics > Check the box next to "Remove nested quotes when quoting."

That should work. And I can see how that can get bothersome.
