Post moderation
« on: August 21, 2018, 03:30:55 am »
Hi,
I've enabled post moderation and set up a group that has the setting can create but requires approval for everything --- it shows this under the permissions > post moderation section
and in the permissions for the member group i've turned off the

options and left the

turned on
but when i tried this on a test member account i could still post; and nothing shows up requiring approval?
is there anything else that needs to be changed

thanks

I read an old post that mentioned someone else had trouble with this, is there a way to fix it?
Thanks

Yes that's how I set it up
I'm using the default board permissions for all boards
The post moderation options show it's for default - and the membergroup is listed under post moderation as requiring approval
But when I try posting as a member in that group,to test it the posts go through without approval
Any ideas?

I worked out the issue
it connects to the postcount membergroups - where you can't delete the last of those and that group was giving access to things the new membergroup wasn't
