Is there a way to set a certain character limit when posting, to prevent those annoying people who just post stuff like "lol" "XD" etc.

We do not have a mimimum character limit at this time.

Sorry to meddle, but what you could do was warn people that posts like that will be considered spam and they shouldn't do it.
