Logo image URL will not line up properly

I need help with how to line up the Logo image URL for my sites title

I’ve tried every style available on here, but I seem to get a white gap at the bottom of the Logo which is not what I want and I would like to have the whole area black with no white gap. Is there a way to do that or do I need to pick a specific size for the Logo image URL to fit properly.

This is what I’m getting

You have to edit the css
the #header

I would change it to something like
background: url(https://cdn.smfboards.com/caf/themes/dark_blue/images/theme/main_block.png) #222 no-repeat 0 -480px;
