DailyMotion Video upload
« on: November 11, 2013, 07:01:49 pm »
Now that I've quit Youtube for obvious reasons,
I'm trying to figure out why Dailymotion is not functioning correctly.
I've read the 2 posts in the Archive mentioning this, and according to them, It should work.
Here's what the website is giving me to link it to the forum, and I'm going to use hyperlink just like I would youtube.
(see attached file for screen shot)
So here it does, 4 attempts to get it to work using hypterlink
1st is just link strait from the windows address bar.
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x172h1h_radeon-hd-6570-2gb-2048mb-gddr3-unboxing-and-installing-on-hp-pavillion-desktop_tech

2nd is the short link Dailymotion provides
http://dai.ly/x172h1h
3rd is the long link DailyMotion provides
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x172h1h_radeon-hd-6570-2gb-2048mb-gddr3-unboxing-and-installing-on-hp-pavillion-desktop_tech which I guess is the same as the first by the looks of it.

4th is the embedded code it supplies using "Insert Code" option abov
Code: [Select]
<iframe frameborder="0" width="480" height="270" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/x172h1h"></iframe><br /><a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x172h1h_radeon-hd-6570-2gb-2048mb-gddr3-unboxing-and-installing-on-hp-pavillion-desktop_tech" target="_blank">Radeon HD 6570 2GB (2048mb) GDDR3 Unboxing and...</a> <i>by <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/wayoftheosage" target="_blank">wayoftheosage</a></i>So lets see how this turns out.

Clearly it works here. What information can I supply my form admin to fix this problem?

You just put the link into your forum to autoembed the video
