How do i delete my forum

Under Forum Settings -> Put in maintenance mode.
Forums are deleted every now and then, it is automated, there is no way to delete a forum other than let it sit.

Ok ive done it you see i have no activity on the site attall i would really just like to delete it.How come there is no option for this i mean because i cant delete it do you mean to say it will just sit there for years to come wont it ever get deleted
