How do I change my forum URL?

(1/3) > >>

Azzerae:
I have followed the 2 steps outlined in the 'Domain Manager and Domain Parking' section of my account, those being:

--- Quote ---Step 1:
Next, you need to change the nameservers on your domain to
ns1.createaforum.com And ns2.createaforum.com

Step 2: - Add the domain to our system
Enter your domain name that you wish to park

--- End quote ---

The one thing that is confusing me now is this part:

--- Quote ---Final Step
Note if using CloudFlare contact us to disable SSL
After the nameservers have been changed takes about 24 to 48 hours for the DNS changes to take affect. You can now try to change over the urls on your forum to your domain name.
Domains
azzgab.world VERIFY URL click on verify link if you see 1 you can update the url. Update Forum Url

--- End quote ---

The trouble is, I don't know what 'Cloudflare' is, whether I'm using it, or who to contact to 'disable SSL'.

How do I know if I'm using Cloudflare? Who do I contact to disable SSL if I am using Cloudflare? I am sooo confused!

I bought a domain from GoDaddy, and changed the nameservers...but NOW WHAT?

I just want my URL to be changed from "azzgab.createaforum.com" to "azzgab.world".

Can somebody PLEASE help me?

Azzerae:
Just to amplify, I have added my domain to the system, but when I click 'Update forum URL', I receive an error message which reads "Domain name is not setup correctly! Please make sure that you own the domain name and that you have it pointed correctly!"

Any idea how I'm supposed to set up my domain name properly and point it correctly? There doesn't seem to be any guidelines as to how one should achieve such a thing.

Azzerae:
Is the solution to wait approximately 48 hours at most, and thereafter when I click verify URL everything will be peachy and switched over?

Azzerae:
Somebody ... anybody ... please just give me a straight answer about how to complete the task, because this is all so confusing!

CreateAForum:
Yes, you need to wait a bit you can check if your domain is ready on intodns.com
