Help!Please
« on: September 04, 2011, 07:04:23 pm »
So I created this website and I was wondering some things.

This website has a docking/awarding system, and they can buy things (not real things, just things on the site) and I've been trying to find out how to do that too. Is it complicated/needs money/CSS coded or something?

Also, they have separate profiles for RP, but it's on the same account. You follow that? I was wondering how to get that too. Thank you!

Oh yeah, you need an account to look at that second website. >_>

Not sure that the separate profiles for RP could be done, but you could add in custom profile fields to allow them to put information about their RP on their profile.

As for the award system... i've seen a money code (get money for posts type of thing) used on other forum services and that would have to be done with a code. You can try requesting it in the codes board.

Well if you got a code for it (I know there are some at SMF For Free, but there is a large chance those might not work here.) you would put it in the footers of your forum. (Admin>CP>Style Manager>Headers/Footers)

So all HTML coding would go in there?

It is HTML right? Not CSS?

Oh you think I could request a CSS coding for a new layout/look...?

(Sorry I have so many questions. >_> I love to ask questions XD)

HTML/Javascript for those awesome codes
CSS for those nice looking styles
All codes I make are tested on the latest version of Google Chrome and upon request of other browsers.

One more thing (>_> right?), could they set it up so I could also have them buy sig rights and other things? Because I can't get sig rights to buy, it's automatic...>_>

I think that'll take a while for me to do(probably I won't do it at all). I believe this would be possible though
