Global moderator VS moderator
« on: December 31, 2010, 05:12:15 pm »
I can't find it anywhere, so I must ask it.

I have a Global Moderator. Now I want a moderator who can moderator some boards, but not all.
How do I do that?

When you modify a board you have the option to enter a moderator for just that board. Just enter the member's name

What you have there is editing a category. Categories are the sections which boards are separated into.

Instead of clicking modify next to the "General Category" area, click modify next to one of the boards within that section (eg "General Discussion") and the option will be there. The option also appears when you go to create a new board by clicking on the "Add Board" button.

I see... Thank you for that!
Perhaps I could be easier if we could appoint a mod in this way too; but it will work;
