Forum Quote Feature Not Always Working
« on: October 17, 2011, 05:22:27 pm »
Hello, it has been reported to me that sometimes the quote feature is not working, can you please look into this and resolve. Here is the thread on my site that discusses the problem, should be somewhat helpful.:

Find out what Browser they are using and we can do some testing for the ones that are having issues.

Hello, here is what I have been told so far:

* Internet Explorer
* Mozilla FireFox

One guy said a panel shows up that says: "Loading"

Thanks

Still looking into.
Hard to tell since I can't get the issue to occur on the computers that I am using.

Might just add an option to disable the ajax quick reply.

Hello, I can't duplicate the issue either. By adding an option feature to disable ajax quick reply, will the user still be able to use the quote feature? A couple said they get a "Loading" banner when they click the quote button. So is this the ajax feature you are talking about?

Thanks for your help!  :D

The ajax quick reply feature is basically allowing you to reply to a topic without loading the entire page again.
All codes I make are tested on the latest version of Google Chrome and upon request of other browsers.
