I seen in the notice thread that you tube's ect. can be shared

When I use the embed code for a you tube, it doesn't work

Also, how can I post pictures from my photobucket? ... the usual 'img src=LINK' surounded by < > doesn't work

Thanks

If you just put the link in the post it will automatically embed the video. :)

As for pictures, we use BBC here, so put the URL of the image within img tags:
Code: [Select]
[img]www.yourpictureurl.com[/img]
If you want to use HTML in posts, administrators can use html tags:
Code: [Select]
[html]<a>an html code?</ a>[/html]

Next time please only post your question once. It will be seen and answered ASAP. ;)

It's possible for members to also do some basic html in posts, including <img src="image url">

Go to Admin > Posts and Topics > Bulletin Board Code
Put a check in:   Enable basic HTML in posts
Click:   Save

This will allow the posting of some basic HTML tags:

•<b>, <u>, <i>, <s>, <em>, <ins>, <del>
•<a href="">
•<img src="" alt="" />
•<br />, <hr />
•<pre>, <blockquote>
