Cannot Login as Admin

i started a new forum and modified it using the original admin login. then i logged out only to find i cannot log back in. the forgot pw popup also does not work. i registered to the forum as a new user to see what would happen with that login - that one works when i log out i can log back in no prob. i cannot log in as admin - need help.

Try to use forgot password or login via your email address. If you have another admin on your forum contact them to make you an admin.

Or if you have your original account creation email. There is a login in there to fixcp to reset your logins.

the login pw help does not work - i get an error message - the original confirmation email with the admin username and special pw does not work - get same error message. oddly, i created another user acc that does let me log out and back in and that one is also given admin priviledges although i did nothing to add that to the 2nd acc.

i rec'd the email about permission but dont know how to grant it? i am able to admin the forum under a different user than the one i signed up with - dont know why this has happened but so long as i can perform the admin part, im good. if this is sufficent to grant you permission to access the forum please do.
